I write because I want to be free

From the rusted clutches of everything

Said and unsaid,

Done and undone,

Loved and Hated,

Under-said, over-said, should not be said.

I want to set those words free

Out in open

So that no one can ever say;

To the new children of the new times,

“Do not write about this

Because one must not write about it this.”

I am connected in my spirits

With those doing the same elsewhere

And perhaps one day,

“What one must not write about”

Shall be the only thing

One must not write about.
