Literary Impotent (A Poem)

At times you want to re-share
The same old verses
Of the same old poetry
You wrote long time back.
Which was appreciated
In its time..

And at times you want to re-share
Because you have a firm belief
That you can’t write anymore
That you have lost the knack
Or you never had it.

And so at times you want to re-share
Just to live in the essence
Of being a poet, a writer…
Because now you are impotent
Your pens keep walking away from you
The paper laughs at your face
And words hate you the most.
